A PLAY with “more twists than a game of pontoon” is being staged by Bridgewater Players at Thelwall Parish Hall.
“Death Walked In” will be performed on November 20-22 at 7.45pm.
It tells the story of Joan, a reserved schoolmistress, who returns to a country hotel in Sussex – the scene of the thriller – to rekindle old memories. She has to deal with a variety of tricky characters and guests are shocked when a death occurs.
Howard Brooks, of the theatre group, said: “It has more twists than a game of pontoon and will keep you in suspense right to the … death!”
Tickets are on sale via the website www.bridgewaterplayers.co.uk or from Karl Walsh Florists, Lymm, Tangles hair salon, Lymm or Thelwall Post Office.
