FORMER SAS legend and renowned military author Chris Ryan is coming to Warrington on November 5.
Chris, who has a new series for Bravo “Chris Ryan’s Elite Police,” will be speaking at HMP Risley.
During the television series Chris has been granted unique access to some of the world’s hardest and most sophisticated special police units including Rio de Janerio’s BOPE unit, Columbia’s Junglas force, the Sunkar Special Forces in Kazakhstan and Warsaw’s crack Boa squad.
Chris, who lives in the mountains in France, meets those involved in law enforcement, tries out their hardware and participates in training and operations. His mission is to earn himself a place in each of the elite units he encounters.
Chris, who has guarded a host of celebrities including Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise, has also written many books for both adults and children, including Chris Ryan’s SAS Fitness Book.
His visit to Risley is part of the National Year of Reading. He will be talking to inmates in the prison library.
