POLICE are investigating after a stolen car was dumped in a back alley at Warrington and set alight.
The Ford Fiesta was abandoned in an alley at the rear of Nora Street shortly before midnight.
By the time fire crews reached the scene, the vehicle was a mass of flames and although they tackled the blaze with a hosereel, the car was completely burned out.
There was no damage to adjoining property.
Anyone who saw the car being driven into the alley or who has any information about it is asked to call police on 0845 458 0000.
