POLICE are investigating today after what is believed to have been an act of arson at Frodsham.
A fire engine from the town’s fire station went to Grassy Lane, Frodsham shortly after 7am.
Firefighters extinguished a blaze involving a bale of hay, using a hose reel jet.
The hay was next to a burnt-out car and fire experts suspect the blaze was started deliberately.
