A TEAM of young litter pickers from Warrington Borough Council’s Stronger Together initiative has helped to rid one of the town’s popular tourist attractions of its unwanted rubbish.
The 20 youngsters aged between nine and 11 from schools across the borough took part in a litter pick at Gulliver’s World theme park.
They collected rubbish from the park and held a talk on litter and recycling, before having a free go on the rides.
Neighbourhood manager Jane Critchley, said: “All the children who took part had a wonderful time, the sun was shining and lots of litter was collected. We would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Gulliver’s World who made our visit so very enjoyable.”
