Teenagers remanded on rape charge

TWO teenagers appeared at Warrington Crown Court today (Friday) charged with the kidnap and rape of a 12-year-old boy.
Zak Hodgson, 19, from Winmarleigh Street, Warrington and a 17-year-old boy, were remanded in custody until September 15 after a preliminary hearing.
David Jones, prosecuting, asked for six weeks to prepare scientific, forensic and medical evidence.
The charges relate to an incident on Tuesday, July 8, at an unoccupied house on Ackers Road in Stockton Heath.
Cheshire Police have issued an appeal for witnesses to the incident to contact them immediately.
