Van driver robbed at knifepoint

POLICE are hunting three hooded youths who threatened a worker in Warrington with a knife before making off with his van and mobile phone.
The incident took place at around 3.35am this morning on Hardwick Grange in Woolston, when the man was approached by the three youths who demanded his keys and mobile phone.
He gave them the two items upon seeing the weapon and they drove off in the distinctive ATS Iveco panel van.
Later in the morning, police recovered the van in the Manchester Road area of the town, believed to be about a 10-minute drive from the place of the initial robbery.
One of the youths is described as having stubble on his top lip, wearing black clothing, aged around 18-years-old.
The other two are believed to around 5ft 7in in height, both wearing black hooded tops and both aged about 18.
