CHANGES to the operation of several taxi ranks have been made by Warrington Borough Council.
Ranks in Bridge Street have been revoked on the west side, fronting property numbers 112 to 120, and on the east side, fronting property numbers 83 to 87 and number 115.
The following new stands have been introduced as substitutes.
Academy Way, from 72 metres east of its junction with Bridge Street for a distance of 35 metres in an easterly direction, Friday, Saturday, Sundays between 11pm to 5am, for seven taxis.
Academy Way, 46 metres north east of its junction with Moulders Lane for a distance of five metres in a south westerly direction (extension to existing Hackney Carriage Stand).
Barbauld Street, from 13 metres south of its junction with Friars Lane for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction, Friday, Saturday, Sundays between 11pm to 5am, two vehicles.
Bridge Street, west side fronting numbers 112 to 120, Tuesday to Thursday 24 hours, Friday to Monday between 5am to 11pm, seven taxis. East side, fronting numbers 83 to 87, same times, two taxis, and fronting 115, same times, one taxi.
