OFFICERS at Stockton Heath Police Station have welcomed a new PCSO to the team covering the beat in south Warrington.
Victoria Fox, 37, (pictured) has joined the South Warrington Neighbourhood Policing Unit and will be pounding the beat across Grappenhall and Thelwall.![]()

Victoria spent eight weeks training at Cheshire Police head quarters in Winsford, before completing a further five weeks training in the local community with a tutor officer.
She commented: “I have always had an interest in the police force and I must admit that when I spotted the opportunity to become a PCSO I jumped at the chance.
“I’m really looking forward to working in the area and getting to grips with the issues that are affecting the quality
of life of residents in the local area.
“I want to become a well-known face within the local community so people feel they can approach me with any issues or concerns they might have.”
Victoria’s previous jobs as both a full-time child minder and a sales negotiator for an estate agent have given her
good grounding for her new role in the police force.
“My previous jobs involved close contact with all sorts of people on a daily basis and this will continue in my role
as a PCSO – just on a different level.
“The skills that I have gained from these jobs will really help me in my new career. I was used to meeting all sorts
of people face-to-face – from those who worked in the business sector to those from diverse communities – and dealing with any issues they might have. I am very much a people person and hope to make a real difference within the local community.”
Her new duties on the patch will include targeting anti-social behaviour hotspots, dealing with parking issues around local schools and organising community action meetings.
Victoria will be part-funded by Grappenhall and Thelwall Parish Council.
Inspector Sarah Edgar, South Warrington NPU, said: “Victoria is a very welcome addition to the team at Warrington South Neighbourhood Policing Unit. She has already made an impact in the area with her commitment and enthusiasm and it will not be long before the communities of Grappenhall and Thelwall reap the benefit of her hard work.”
Residents can contact Victoria on the Warrington South Community Action Team contact number – 0845 458 6372.
