A new road closure is scheduled to take place on Rushgreen Road, Lymm, next month, to allow utility companies to connect new customers.
The three day road closure will take place for three days from October 23-26.
Warrington Borough Council has given notice it intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Rushgreen Road from its junction with Fletchers Lane to its junction with Cloverfield.
The Order will be effective from 23rd October 2026 to 26th October 2026, as and when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via A6144, including Mill Lane, Bent Lane, Paddock Lane, Warburton Lane, Manchester New Road, Manchester Road, Harboro Road, and the A56 including Manchester Road, Church Street, Dunham Road.
