Warrington-based entrepreneur Jack Longton has launched Jack Longton Life Coaching, a practical coaching and personal development business helping capable people build confidence, make clearer decisions and follow through on the changes they want to make.
After more than a decade working across sales, customer service, leadership, workplace wellbeing and strategic partnerships, Jack began to notice a recurring pattern. Many people were ambitious, intelligent and fully aware of what they needed to do, yet still found themselves overthinking, delaying decisions or repeatedly starting again.
Jack realised that the missing ingredient was often not knowledge or motivation, but self-trust.
“I kept meeting people who were clearly capable, but who had stopped trusting themselves to take action,” Jack said. “They did not necessarily need another plan or another motivational speech. They needed practical support to rebuild confidence in their own judgement and prove to themselves that they could follow through.”
This inspired Jack to complete his professional life coaching training and become an ACCPH accredited life coach. He subsequently launched his own coaching practice, combining his professional leadership experience with structured coaching methods, accountability and practical behavioural tools.
Jack now works with individuals experiencing challenges such as low confidence, overthinking, inconsistency, career uncertainty, communication difficulties and a lack of personal direction. His central belief is that confidence is not something people must wait to feel. It is something they can train through small actions, kept promises and evidence of progress.
Through one-to-one coaching, structured programmes, assessments and practical resources, clients are supported to understand the patterns holding them back, identify what matters to them and take realistic steps forward. The business is positioned around “self-trust training”, providing a more direct and action-focused alternative to vague personal development advice.
Alongside individual coaching, Jack is also developing workforce training for businesses, particularly those with sales, service and customer-facing teams. These programmes focus on communication, resilience, accountability, burnout prevention and leadership under pressure, helping organisations support employee wellbeing while strengthening workplace performance.
Jack’s ambition is to grow a recognised coaching and training business that supports individuals locally in Warrington as well as clients and organisations across the UK. Future plans include expanding the range of workshops, digital programmes, practical assessments and employer partnerships available through the business.
“I want to build something that is genuinely useful,” Jack added. “My aim is for people to leave coaching with more than a temporary boost. I want them to understand themselves better, trust their own decisions and have practical tools they can continue using independently.”
Jack Longton Life Coaching is currently welcoming individual coaching clients and enquiries from organisations.
