Shoppers have been known to queue before the doors open for one of Warrington’s most popular charity shopping events and it’s returning this Saturday.
CARE UK Charity’s £10 Fill a Bag Sale has become a firm favourite with local bargain hunters, with previous events attracting queues outside the store and clothing rails quickly emptied as shoppers hunt for the best finds.
The popular event returns this Saturday (25th July) from 10am to 4pm at CARE UK Charity’s Home Store & More, Riverside Retail Park, Warrington.
For just £10, shoppers can fill a bag with as much clothing as they can fit inside, making it a popular way for families, students and savvy shoppers to refresh their wardrobes while supporting a local charity.
Sophie Baker, Communications Executive at CARE UK Charity, said: “Every time we hold one of our Fill a Bag events, people ask us when the next one will be. They’ve become incredibly popular, and as we’re celebrating our store’s third birthday this month, it felt like the perfect opportunity to hold another one as a thank you to our loyal customers.
“Not only can people pick up some fantastic bargains, but every purchase directly supports our work in the local community. The money raised helps us provide clothing, furniture and essential household items to local people who rely on our services. Without the continued support of our customers, we simply couldn’t do what we do.”
All proceeds from the event help CARE UK Charity continue supporting individuals and families across Warrington and Halton through its community services.
The charity is encouraging anyone planning to attend to arrive early, as previous events have proved extremely popular.
