The Pub Landlord, Al Murray, will be bringing more of his bar room wisdom and a barrel full of laughs to Warrington next year.
Due to popular demand, Al is taking his All You Need Is Guv tour on a victory lap – with a new date at Parr Hall on Thursday, 3 June.
The Palmyra Square venue will once again be transformed into Al’s own pub lock-in with more ‘common sense hot-takes’ over frothy pints promised.
As usual, audiences can expect a satirical mix of pub talk philosophy where the Guv always ties himself in knots with his arguments about these ‘whacked-out and troubled times’ our country has found itself in.
Also returning is the new ‘splash zone’ for the Guv’s ‘brave, bold and plain straight crazy’ fans.
Those sitting in the splash zone will be closest to the action and receive a goody bag containing a much-needed poncho as when the Pub Landlord sets the world to rights with a pint in hand, it won’t just be wisdom showering down on them…
Al Murray has been portraying The Pub Landlord – his caricature of a stereotypical, right-wing, British patriot – for around 30 years.
Since then, Al has filled some of the most prestigious venues around the UK, including London’s 02 Arena and the iconic Royal Albert Hall.
He has won numerous awards, hosted many critically acclaimed television shows, and in 2015 famously stood for election in South Thanet when he formed the ‘Free United Kingdom Party’ and stood against Nigel Farage to make a statement about there being ‘too many jokers in politics’.
