LATCHFORD Albion Giants turned in a professional performance to claim a 22-0 victory at Portico Vine Panthers – avenging a start of the season defeat
The first half was a very close affair with both sides fighting for the upper hand, and it wasn’t until the 30th minute that the first points were registered.
These came the way of the visitors when Arthur Scrase raced through a gap in the Portico line to score, Dave Manfredi converting.
This proved to be the only score of the first half giving Albion the advantage at the break
Latchford had the ability to step up a gear in the second half and quickly took full control of the game.
Tries on 53 and 60 minutes from River Cole (pictured), with Manfredi adding one conversion, saw the visitors in a very strong position.
A further try from Scrase, with Manfredi adding the extras, rounded off a successful afternoon for Latchford.
