THREE family members are doing a sponsored charity walk up Mount Snowdon to celebrate 200 years of St Margaret’s School at Orford, Warrington.
Lewis Childs, a former pupil at St Margaret’s, has organised the charity walk up Mount Snowdon on June 26th. He is being joined by his 10-year-old sister Connie Woods, a pupil at the school and her dad Scott Woods, also a former pupil.
The school are planning a year of celebrations for the pupils as its such a special occasion.
Lewis said: “This is to raise funds to help St Margaret’s celebrate their 200th anniversary as an excellent school in our community. I attended St Margaret’s for my education as did Scott, which makes it 3 generations of the family who attended the school, which is why it is so special to us.
“The funds will be used to help and support the celebrations over the next school year for all of the pupils to enjoy across the whole calendar year.
Any donations are kindly welcome and will be appreciated by over 400 children & the hard-working staff.
