Warrington to host first Hong Kong-led Lunar New Year Market

WARRINGTON Hongkongers CIC (WHKERS CIC), in proud partnership with Warrington Market, is delighted to announce the Warrington Lunar New Year Market 2026.

Taking place on Sunday, 15 February 2026, at Warrington Time Square, this landmark event marks the first-ever Lunar New Year celebration in the town curated and organised by the local Hong Kong community. Centred around the theme of “Cultural Fusion,” the event aims to bridge communities through a shared appreciation of authentic traditions, festive gastronomy, and interactive entertainment.

Besides, a call for Traders and Stallholders, WHKERS CIC is currently inviting applications for stallholders to join this historic event. They welcome traders specialising in: • Hot Food & Street Snacks (Cooking Stalls) • Pre-packaged Festive Foods • Handicrafts & Gifts. This is a unique opportunity to showcase products to an estimated audience of thousands, including the substantial local Hong Kong population and Warrington residents.
