College to host additional quiet open events in the new year

Warrington & Vale Royal College will host two additional open events in early 2026, designed to offer a calmer and more accessible experience for visitors who prefer a quieter environment.

These events are aimed at young people aged 16-18, as well as those aged 19-24 with an Education, Health and Care Plan.
The Warrington campus will hold its Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Open Evening on Wednesday 14th January, from 4.00pm – 7.00pm. Visitors can explore the campus at their own pace, meet staff, hear presentations from the Principal, the Learning Support, and the Supported Internship teams; who will outline the college’s approach to helping all students settle in and succeed.
A dedicated Foundation Learning & Supported Internships Evening will follow at the Winsford campus, offering information on these specialist pathways and the support available for students, parents, and carers. This event will take place on Tuesday 3rd February, from 4.00pm – 7.00pm, and provides an opportunity for visitors to learn more about these pathways and what they involve.
These quieter events reflect the college’s commitment to providing a welcoming and inclusive transition into further education for every student.

Advanced registration is required. Visit wvr.ac.uk/events to choose the event you would like to attend and secure your place.
