A DOMESTIC garage and most of its contents – including a car – were almost completely destroyed by fire at Warrington.
The blaze was at a house in Elton Close, Locking Stumps.
Fire crews from Birchwood and Warrington were called to the scene and tackled the blaze using two hosereel jets.
The garage was destroyed and there was severe damage to the car.A ventilation unit was used to clear smoke from the premises and a home safety assessment was carried out.
Cause of the outbreak is believed to have been an electrical fault on a refrigerator in the garage
