RESIDENTS and former library staff joined current staff at Padgate Library, Warrington, to celebrate its 30th birthday.
There was an afternoon of tea, coffee and lots of cake to mark the occasion.
The library has a strong link with Lysander High School and is currently involved with pupils in a project, My Voice, which encourages young people to get involved with libraries.
