PLANS for a two-bedroomed bungalow on a farm site at Winwick, Warrington, have been turned down by borough council planners.
The scheme would have involved the demolition of a barn at Midhops Farm, Delph Lane.
Planning chiefs say insufficient evidence has been provided to show the development would not be detrimental to highway safety or that sufficient parking for two vehicles could be provided.
In addition, there is insufficient details provided about the potential for roosting bats or nesting birds, meaning there could be a detrimental impact on protected species.
Planners were told there are a number of stables on the site, some of which would need to be demolished..
