A HOUSEHOLDER at Warrington has won planning consent for a bedroom extension over an existing double garage – at the second attempt.
The development is proposed for a detached house in Falconers Green, Westbrook.
An earlier attempt to obtain permission was refused by the committee last year, on the grounds the extension would be too large.
But a scaled-down version has now been accepted by the borough council’s planning committee – despite continued objections from a neighbour concerned about the possible loss of daylight and privacy.
But officers said the smaller extension would not result in any significant loss of amenity for neighbours.
