FIREFIGHTERS from Warrington were called out to reports of a fire in a woodland area at Padgate on Friday evening.
At 18:30 the crew attended at Lysander Drive, where a fire that had been set alight in woodland was put it out with water.
In another incident on Thursday night at 22:09 one crew from Penketh attended reports of a fire in a park on Burtonwood Road.
Firefighters extinguished a small fire in a park using a bucket of water. It is suspected this may have been deliberate.
