EXACTLY one year from becoming a couple, two lovebirds from Warrington tied the knot in a Peaky Blinders wedding no one saw coming — but no one who attended will soon forget.
Lucinda-Rose and Craig took a chance on each other and said “I do” in a bold, vintage-themed celebration that defied expectations and rewrote their love story.
Lucinda -Rose explained: “When we first got together, a lot of people didn’t think we’d last. Now we are expecting our first child together in January 2026. But here we are married happy and building a life together. The wedding, far from traditional was straight out of a bygone era. Inspired by the glamour of peaky blinders, guests arrived in full 1920s attire. Craig’s family embraced the theme wholeheartedly turning the day into a stylish throwback of Birmingham’s gangsters.”
The ceremony took place at Times Square with the reception at the Grappenhall Centre.
With Lucinda’s original dress not fitting due to being pregnant and only a week to go before the wedding, it was a huge dilemma with her mum Diane trying to fix it and it still not working. Luckily her cousin-in-law Darby came to the rescue with a lovely vintage white corset dress that she wore as well for her wedding when she married Brent.
“It was like the most perfect fairytale,” added Lucinda.
