FIRE engines from Warrington and Birchwood went to Alder Lane, Warrington last night after reports of a fire in a terraced house.
The blaze was in the kitchen and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled it with a hose reel jet.
A ventilation unit was then used to clear smoke from the property.
All person in the house were accounted for and no-one was reported harmed.
It is believed the cause of the blaze was accidental.
