FIVE miles of congestion and 45-minute delays were reported on the M62 at Warrington this morning following a two-vehicle collision.
Two lanes (of 4) were closed on the M62 eastbound in between J11 (Risley) and J12 (M60) due to a collision. All lanes have since re-opened.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: “At 7am on Wednesday 16 July, emergency services were called to reports were called to reports of a collision on the M62 between junctions 11 and 12.
“There are no reports of any serious injuries.”
This incident is now clear, and all lanes have re-opened on the #M62 eastbound in #Cheshire between J11 (#Risley) and J12 (#M60).
Long delays remain in the area but should now start to ease.
