Fire involving wheelie bins believed to be accidental

A fire involving two wheelie bins that spread to fencing at Winwick, Warrington, is believed to have been accidental.

At 15:45 one fire crew from Warrington attended at an address on St Oswalds Close, Winwick.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish a fire involving two wheelie bins that had spread to fence panels. It is believed to have been caused accidentally.

In another incident at 17:14, one fire crew from Warrington was called out to reports of a fire in a wooded area at Radley Common.
Crews used their water backpacks to extinguish the fire. This is believed to have been a deliberate ignition.
