A Warrington couple have celebrated an extraordinary milestone, 65 years of marriage—with love, laughter, and a very special message from King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
Jean and Martin Pilling, who lived on Cranborne Avenue for 33 years, marked their Blue Sapphire Wedding Anniversary surrounded by family, friends, and heartfelt memories. During their time on Cranborne Avenue, they raised their two children, Karen and Martin, and have since been blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Martin, 89, and Jean, 84, are cherished members of the community and a true inspiration to all who know them. Their secret to a long and happy marriage? “Respect for each other, love, and understanding,” Jean says with a warm smile, as the couple proudly hold the royal anniversary card they received from the King and Queen.
