FIREFIGHTERS from Warrington were called to Bruche Heath Gardens last night (Sunday) after a tree splintered and partially fell on to the roof of a flat.
No-one inside the property was reported hurt and it was not necessary for anyone to evacuate.
The fire crew put up[ a cordon around the property and handed the incident over to the local authority to assess the extent of the damage.
It is not clear what caused the tree to fall.
