Family escape house fire

A FAMILY was aroused by a smoke alarm when fire broke out at a house in Warrington during the early hours of the morning.
The blaze was at a semi-detached house in West Avenue, Stockton Heath.
Fire crews from Stockton Heath tackled the blaze, caused by an electrical fault.on the ground floor.
The house was smokelogged and firefighters wore breathing apparatus during the operation.
No-one was hurt and crews carried out a home safety assessment before leaving.
In a separate incident, crews from Stockton Heath and Warrington were called to a brick-built barn in Barbers Lane, Antrobus.
The fire was out by the time they arrived but they isolated electrics before leaving the scene
In another incident, fire crews from Warrington dealt with a blazing wheelie bin set alight by vandals in a passageway at the rear of Folly Lane, Warrington.
