Police in hunt for shop raiders

DETECTIVES have appealed for help from the public in tracking down two men who robbed a shop at Warrington.
They have issued CCTV images of the two suspected offenders who stole cash from McColls in Gorsey Lane.
The incident took place last Friday (January 13) at around 10.55pm.
Two masked men entered the store just before closing and forced two female members of staff into the rear office.
They demanded that staff open a safe and stole a quantity of cash before fleeing the scene on foot. The staff were not injured as a result of the incident.
The first man was between 5ft 8 inches and 5ft 10 inches tall, aged mid-late 20s and of average build. He was wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a black walking coat and a black scarf covering his face.
His companion was a similar height, age and build and was wearing light grey tracksuit bottoms, black trainers with white stripes and a blue hooded top.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, knows the identity of the offenders or has any information, which might assist officers with their enquiries, is urged to call Cheshire Police on 101. Information can also be passed on anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
