£1,000 reward offered for return of missing much-loved dog

A £1,000 reward has been offered for the recovery of a much-loved dog which has been missing from a Warrington home for a month today (Tuesday, July 25).

Bailey is a four-year-old female black Labrador owned by Tom Forshaw, of Warrington Road, Glazebury.

She went missing after jumping over the garden fence with a possible sighting at a farm shop near Winwick a few days later.

The whole family is heartbroken by her disappearance – particularly 10-year-old Tom junior, who has lost his “best mate.”
Bailey was last seen in fields at Glazebrook about two weeks ago. The family is devastated by her loss but are still searching – and still hoping she will turn up.
If she is returned there will be “no questions asked” and the person who returns her can remain anonymous and still receive the reward.

Bailey has been chipped and also spayed so she is no use for breeding.
But, as anyone who has owned and loved a dog knows, she is one of the family.
The number to call, if you have any information about Bailey, or if someone has tried to sell you a black Labrador, is 07915 991 103.
