VIDEO: Thousands of people flocked into Lymm village as the Lymm Duck Race returned after an absence of two years due to the pandemic.

Organised by Lymm Roundtable and supported by local businesses, the event is expected to raise over £10,000 for good causes, with a £5,000 donation already pledged to the humanitarian crisis in the Ukraine.

Members of the public also purchased hundreds of plastic ducks which were emptied in the lower dam in the middle of the village, with prizes for the first ones to cross the finish line.

It is one of a number of events organised by Lymm Roundtable to help raise funds for good causes.
