Police launch fortnightly surgery

LYMM people who have issues or complaints they want to raise with police can now do so in the village.
Regular drop-in surgeries are being organised by police in conjunction with Golden Gates Housing.
They will take place every fortnight at Lymm Library, Davies Way. The first will be on Monday (Nov 29) from noon until 3pm and they will continue every two weeks.
PCSO Daren Dennis said: “Residents are being encouraged to come along to the surgery, meet officers face-to-face and have a chat. This is the ideal opportunity to meet the local neighbourhood officers who are tackling the issues that matter to the local community.”
PCSO Dennis said people could just turn up to raise any issues they had regarding the area.
He said: “We understand that some people can find it daunting speaking at community meetings – so surgeries like these are of real benefit as they are informal, on a one-to-one basis and allow us to speak to people we otherwise might not hear from.”
A representative from Golden Gates will also be attending each of the surgeries.
