COVID-19 infection rates increasing in ALL areas of Warrington and almost doubling in a week

COVID-19 infection rates have risen in every single area of Warrington during the past week, with numbers more than doubling in many areas.

There have been significant spikes in Lymm, Stockton Heath & Hillcliffe, Central Warrington, Calalnds & Old Hall, and Kingswood and Whittle Hall, with rates almost doubling across the whole town.

There were a total of 1,261 new cases week ending March 12, compared to 659 the previous week and 529 the week before that.
