WHILE no further COVID-19 related deaths have been reported at Warrington Hospital, inpatient numbers are continuing to rise, although infection rates continue to fall.
A total of 155 (143) COVID-19 cases were reported by the UK Health Security Agency in the latest daily data, taking the total number of cases recorded in Warrington since the start of the pandemic to 65,590 (65,435).
Infection rate figures over a seven-day period have fallen again to 1,394 (1,444) – 665.7 (689.6) per 100,000 population and remain below the national average of 803.1 (833.7) per 100,000 which continue to fall.
While no more death has been reported since yesterday, inpatient numbers have risen again slightly from 58-60 including three in ICU while six patients have been discharged.
