The six areas of Warrington where COVID-19 rates have risen

WHILE new COVID-19 infection rates have continued to fall in many areas of Warrington, six areas of the town have seen increased numbers in the latest small area data.

Infection rates continue to remain high in Blackbrook while small increases have been reported in Locking Stumps, Oakwood & Gorse Covert, Orford and Great Sankey. Rates also remain high in Kingswood & Whittle Hall, although they have fallen since last week.

There were 1,655 new cases week ending January 29, compared to 1,856 the previous week and 2,049 the week before that.
