Latest COVID-19 hot spots and vaccination data as one area of Warrington records 334 new cases in a week!

FOR a second consecutive week ALL areas of Warrington have seen increases in new COVID-19 cases, with one area of the town recording 334 new cases in a week!

The latest data published yesterday, January 6, for the week ending January 1, show COVID-19 infection rates in Warrington had risen to 4,816 new cases in a seven-day period compared to 3,083 the previous week and 1,758 the week before that.

Kingswood and Whittle Hall recorded the highest number of new cases with 334 in a week, compared to 194 in the previous seven days.

All areas of the town returned three figures, apart from Appleton with 99, up from 58 the previous week.
