Motorist arrested after two vehicle collision at Paddington

A 41-year-old motorist who allegedly fled the scene of a two vehicle collision on Manchester Road, Paddington, earlier today, Tuesday, has been arrested by police.

The collision took place near the Kalgarth Grange Day Nursery and Preschool pn Manchester Road, Paddington, at around 10.15am today.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At 10.14am on Tuesday, April 6, police were called to reports of a collision on Manchester Road.



“Officers attended the scene and found there had been a collision between a blue Vauxhall Astra and a red Land Rover.
“The driver of the Astra had left the scene.
“A 41-year-old man has since been arrested in relation to the incident – he is currently assisting officers with their enquiries.”
