Warrington & Vale Royal College is preparing to welcome Year 11 pupils and their families to its Open Evenings, beginning on October 7.
As Warrington’s leading provider of technical education and skills training, the college offers a wide range of technical courses, apprenticeships, T Levels, and NEW A Levels and V Level pathways for September 2027.
Open Evenings provide an excellent opportunity for prospective students to explore the college’s vibrant and inclusive learning environment, tour industry-standard facilities, meet expert tutors and discover the wide range of courses available across the college. With study programmes available from entry level through to Level 3 and T Levels, students can choose from a variety of pathways designed in partnership with employers to ensure they gain the skills, knowledge and experience needed for future success.
New for September 2027, Warrington & Vale Royal College is excited to introduce Combination Pathways. These innovative full-time study programmes combine A Levels, V Levels and technical qualifications, providing students with strong academic foundations alongside practical, industry-focused skills. By blending academic and vocational learning, students can develop the knowledge, experience and confidence needed to progress to university, higher and degree apprenticeships, or a wide range of career opportunities.
Visitors attending the Open Evenings will be able to find out more about Combination Pathways, as well as the college’s full range of technical courses, T Levels and apprenticeships.
Don’t miss the opportunity to explore Warrington & Vale Royal College! The first chance to visit the college’s Warrington campus is on Wednesday 7th October from 5.00pm to 8.00pm, followed by additional Open Evenings on Wednesday 21st October and Monday 9th November.
The college will also host a dedicated SEND Open Evening on Wednesday 18th November from 4.00pm to 7.00pm. Designed to provide a quieter and more relaxed experience for prospective students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and their families, the event offers the opportunity to find out more about the wide range of courses available and the support services in place to help every student thrive. Visitors will be able to meet specialist staff, explore the campus at a comfortable pace and learn more about the inclusive learning environment at Warrington & Vale Royal College.
Students interested in Foundation Learning and Supported Internships pathways who are local to the college’s Winsford campus are also invited to attend the dedicated Winsford Campus Open Evening on Tuesday 1st December, where they can explore the specialist provision, facilities and support available.
