B-Engineering Group has provided vital servicing and maintenance work at Warrington Youth Zone free of charge, helping the charity to significantly reduce its maintenance costs while ensuring its facilities remain safe for the thousands of young people who use them each year.
As a Founder Patron of Warrington Youth Zone, B-Engineering Group continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting the charity and its mission to provide young people across Warrington with somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to.
Most recently, the B-Engineering Group team visited Warrington Youth Zone to carry out essential servicing of the thermostatic mixing valves on sinks throughout the building. The work also included testing the anti-scalding devices fitted to taps across the Youth Zone.
This maintenance is particularly important in ensuring that the facilities remain safe for young people, helping to prevent accidental scalding when they use the sinks throughout the building.
The work was carried out by Jack, an apprentice at B-Engineering Group, who is preparing to undertake his final test for his gas apprenticeship in September.
As well as providing Warrington Youth Zone with the work completely free of charge, significantly reducing the charity’s maintenance costs, the partnership also provides valuable opportunities for apprentices like Jack to gain practical experience and further develop their skills in a live working environment.
