FIREFIGHTERS tackled a vehicle fire in a car park on Wilson Patten Street, Warrington, late on Tuesday night.
One fire engine from Warrington attended the incident at around 9.27 pm. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.
The fire is suspected to have been started deliberately, and police officers were also in attendance.

Meanwhile, yesterday, Wednesday, at 12:49 three fire crews were called to a van that was well alight on the M6 southbound on J21A to J21. Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and dampen down hotspots, which were identified using thermal imaging cameras.
National Highways attended and closed the road while firefighters dealt with the incident. The fire is believed to have been caused by a mechanical fault.
