THE countdown is on to the new season for Warrington Town after their pre-season schedule and season tickets were released.

Four National League North sides will visit Cantilever Park in the build-up to the new campaign, while season ticket prices have been frozen with a number of new benefits added.

Players reported back for pre-season last weekend, and their first taste of action will be away from home at the DCBL Stadium in Widnes against Widnes Town.

The first home friendly is on 18th July against Chester, who helped to set a new club record attendance figure for a league match back in 2024.

Macclesfield (21st July), Southport (25th July) and Buxton (1st August) will all visit Warrington for pre-season as Paul Carden’s side prepares for the new league campaign, which kicks off on 8th August.

Their other pre-season games scheduled are away at Atherton LR (14th July) and Crosby-based National League North side Marine (28th July).

Carden has so far added seven new signings to his squad. Strikers Ewan Bange and Ben Elliott have arrived from Bamber Bridge and Prescot Cables, goalkeeper Mateusz Hewelt comes in after three seasons as number one at Radcliffe, midfielders Bobby Bjork and Lewis Earl and defender Alex McNally have all arrived.

Meanwhile, Warrington Town season ticket holders will be able to take advantage of a 10% discount at Iceland and the Food Warehouse, and the club has also offered the option of paying in instalments for the first time.

Adult season tickets are priced at £229, concessions (for over 65s, full-time students and those aged 16-18) is £149 and juniors (under 16) are £49.
