Worthy causes can still bid for share of £10,000 fund

SCHOOLS, charities, groups and worthy causes serving the Grappenhall Heys area of Warrington still have time to apply for a share of a £10,000 community fund.

Redrow’s Grappenhall Heys Community Fund aims to empower and strengthen the community around the homebuilder’s new Alderbrook Manor development by providing financial aid to projects that make a difference.The £10,000 community fund will be shared out between the chosen applicants and the , deadline for applications is midnight on Friday (May 22).
“We’re eager to hear about the fantastic community work happening across Warrington,” said Amanda Jones, head of sales at Redrow NW.
“The Grappenhall Heys Community Fund is open to all not‑for‑profit groups operating within or supporting the people of Warrington with a share of £10,000 available to back local initiatives.“Community shapes where people choose to live and we hope this fund will strengthen local connections, empower meaningful projects and create a lasting positive impact in Warrington.”
Previous Redrow funding across the North West has helped schools, charities, youth groups, sports teams and individuals at the very heart of the community, providing a range of resources.
Once complete, the development, located south of Curzon Drive, Keepers Road and Boddington Drive, will feature 237 new homes. Properties will come in a range of one to five-bedroom bespoke homes adapted from Redrow’s Heritage range, including 30 per cent affordable homes.

Deadline for applications to be completed is midnight on Friday, May 22.
