POLICE are investigating following a suspected arson incident at a disused building in old Grappenhall village, Warrington, over the weekend.
At 18:43 yesterday, Saturday, two crews from Lymm and Warrington attended reports of a fire at a disused property on Church Lane, Grapenhall.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire and dampen down the surrounding area.
A high-pressure fan was then used to clear smoke from the premises.
Police were also in attendance, as this is believed to have been lit deliberately.
