Barrow Electrical – Building momentum and creating an impact

As we move further into our 20th year at Barrow Electrical, here in Warrington, the momentum continues to build.

The past month has been a strong mix of progress, expansion and strategic growth — the things that continue to shape our journey.

We’ve been actively pricing and securing work across Bolton, Leeds, Edinburgh and Leicester, further strengthening our national footprint. Alongside this, we’re preparing to commence a national
compliance rollout for one of our key retail clients, a project that will see our teams operating across multiple locations throughout the UK. It’s a significant programme of works and a clear sign of the trust clients place in our delivery and standards.
Internationally, we’re continuing our three-year contract within the retail sector, with our team preparing to head back overseas to progress the next phase of works.
Maintaining and delivering on long-term international partnerships is something we’re extremely proud of and reflects the capability and consistency of our workforce.
Internally, we’ve strengthened our structure with the arrival of our new Contracts Manager, Dan. A few weeks into the role, Dan has hit the ground running and is already proving to be a fantastic asset to the business. His leadership and organisation are helping us manage an expanding project portfolio while ensuring we continue to scale in a controlled and sustainable way.
In other news, we are incredibly proud and honoured to have been shortlisted for the High Sheriff’s Award for Excellence in Enterprise.
This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Barrow Electrical team, and we look forward to the awards night with excitement.
I’ve also had the opportunity to host clients at Manchester City through their international commercial team, alongside Jacob & Co., where we were introduced to some exceptional timepieces.
It was a brilliant example of how strong relationships continue to create new opportunities, with some exciting collaborations potentially ahead.
On a personal note, a visit with my family to the cancer research laboratories at the University of Liverpool was incredibly meaningful. My wife valued the chance to speak directly with professors and learn more about the groundbreaking work being done in the fight against cancer. It was both humbling and inspiring.
Preparations are well underway for our Charity Golf Day in partnership with Northwest Cancer Research on 10th July at The Mere Golf & Country Club, which is shaping up to be a fantastic day.
Momentum continues — and we’re excited for what’s ahead.
