A 36-year-old man who was arrested following a police search in Warrington has been charged in connection with six burglaries.
Gavin Phythian was arrested on Tuesday 24 February after officers, supported by the police helicopter, recovered a vehicle from the multistorey car park at Golden Square.
Phythian of London Road, Sandbach, has since been charged with six counts of burglary.
He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Chester Magistrates Court later today, Thursday 26 February.
The charges relate to burglaries in Warrington, Wilmslow and Manchester which occurred between Thursday 13 November 2025 and Monday 2 February 2026.
A 42-year-old man from Warrington has also been arrested in connection to the incidents; he is currently being questioned by officers.
