Planning underway for annual St Patrick’s Day Parade

WARRINGTON’S annual St Patrick’s Day Parade, organised by Warrington Irish Club will take place on Sunday, March 15.

The parade will leave the Warrington Irish Club at 10.30am on Sunday 15th March and will last for approximately 1 hour 15 minutes, stopping in Bridge Street for the Mayor Cllr. Mo Hussain, to lay a wreath and speak at the memorial of Tim Parry and Johnathan Ball who died has a result of the IRA bombings on March 2oth 1993.
Several other Council Dignitries will be attending as usual including the leader and deputy leader of the council and the town’s two MPs.
The parade will be lead by Warrington Pipe band and the Nicola Robinson Irish Dance Academy.
There will be entertainment provided for the rest of the day at Warrington Irish Club.
