St. Rocco’s open bookings for 13th annual Christmas Tree Collection

LOCAL charity St. Rocco’s Hospice is once again offering residents of Warrington a stress-free and eco-friendly way to dispose of their real Christmas trees, with collections taking place on Saturday, January 10.

For a donation of your choice, the hospice’s dedicated team of volunteers, supported by businesses from across Warrington will collect and recycle your tree, helping to raise vital funds towards patient care at St. Rocco’s Hospice.

Charlotte, Senior Events Manager, commented: “St Rocco’s Hospice is a local charity that relies on the generosity of the Warrington community for the majority of our funding. Every pound raised goes directly towards caring for our patients and their loved ones. As we celebrate 40 years of care this year, your donations will help us continue providing this vital service for years to come.
“All you need to do is book your collection and leave your tree in an accessible place the night before the collection, it really is that easy!
“Last year, our team of volunteers collected 2,700 trees from across Warrington and raised an incredible £42,000. This money went directly to St Rocco’s Hospice to care for patients with life-limiting illnesses. This year St. Rocco’s is hoping to beat last year’s fundraising target, but to do this, they need your help.”
St. Rocco’s would like to say a huge thank you to the large team of local businesses and volunteers who have already pledged their support this year, but we are still looking for more volunteers and businesses to help. Can your company spare some time, a vehicle or even a chipper? Or would you like to just help on the day collection? If the answer is yes, please contact the fundraising team by emailing fundraising@stroccos.org.uk or calling 01925 575780.
St. Rocco’s Christmas Tree Collection initiative covers Warrington postcodes (WA1 to WA5 and WA13). Booking is easy and can be done online at
