WARRINGTON-based Miller Homes North West has completed the purchase of Phase 4 at Omega Warrington, which will see the development of 68 new homes.
The site, the final development area at Omega Warrington and part of the former Burtonwood airbase, was marketed on behalf of OWL Limited by CBRE.
Omega has been developed by Miller Developments under a Development Agreement with Homes England and extends to over seven million square feet of commercial space, 1,400 residential units, a retail park, and a 40-acre public park.
The strategic acquisition marks a full circle for the homebuilder, who were the first residential developers to build at Omega Warrington and will now be the last, bookending one of the North West’s most successful regeneration stories.
Phase 4 at Omega Warrington already benefits from outline planning approval, with Miller Homes set to submit a Reserved Matters Planning Application within the coming month. The development will deliver 68 new homes, with construction expected to begin in early 2026 and the first completions anticipated later that year.
John Hardy, Land Director at Miller Homes North West, said: “We are delighted to have secured this important site at Omega Warrington. As the first developer to bring homes to Omega, it’s incredibly rewarding for Miller Homes to now deliver the final phase. This acquisition underlines our continued confidence in the North West market and our commitment to creating sustainable, high-quality new homes across the region.”
This latest acquisition further strengthens Miller Homes’ pipeline across the North West, adding to a series of recent land investments that support the delivery of sustainable communities across the region.
