Pubs asking their customers to donate chocolate selection boxes

TWO Warrington pubs are among 81 across the North West asking their customers to donate chocolate selection boxes in the lead up to Christmas to ensure everyone has a festive sweet treat to look forward to.

They are the Chapel House at Burtonwood and the Church Inn at Lowton, both part of Proper Pubs – the award-winning community wet-led operator division of Admiral Taverns which operate more than 220 pubs across England, Scotland and Wales.
The chocolates will be donated to a host of local charities and communities in need.

Over the past three years, Proper Pubs has donated almost 50,000 Christmas selection boxes and advent calendars to local charities through the kind generosity of its customers and local residents.
In addition, as part of Admiral Taverns’ ongoing support of its national charity partner – Claire House Children’s Hospice – sites across each region of the UK will collectively be fundraising and donating funds from November 10 to December 21, providing support for the children and families that are currently supported by the charity. So far this year, Admiral Taverns has already raised more than £50,000 for Claire House.
